MPM/GMP

Master in Policy Management/Global Masters Program

Students in this dual degree program earn both Georgetown’s Masters in Policy Management (MPM) and the Korean Development Institute School of Public Policy’s Global Masters Program (GMP). The MPM-GMP is targeted towards Korean public administration and public policy professionals in the “early-middle” stage of their careers, usually with between five and ten years of work experience. Under this program, students spend their first year at the KDI School and their second year at a partner institution, earning a degree from each. The KDI’s School’s dual degree programs provide an inter-disciplinary skill set and international educational experience in both Korea and North America for those students, exposing them to a broader range of faculty, student peers, experiences and ideas than they would get in their home country.

Only current students enrolled in KDI’s GMP program can apply. For more information about the GMP program, please visit: https://www.kdischool.ac.kr/. Note: For the McCourt Application, no Supplemental Data Form is required.

To earn this dual degree, students must complete the full first year GMP curriculum requirements at the KDI School and 27 credits at the McCourt School over the course of an intense 24 months. All of the teaching for the dual degree program is in English. The following represents a typical course sequence:
