Closer to impact

The McCourt School of Public Policy has a new home at 125 E St. NW, on Georgetown University’s Capitol Campus, right in the heart of Washington, DC. This state-of-the-art building brings our students, faculty and staff together under one roof for the first time since the School’s founding. Our new location offers unparalleled access to the policy, political and local communities in DC, unlocking new opportunities to learn, work and contribute in service of the common good.

Positioned for purpose

We are located just blocks away from the U.S. Capitol, Supreme Court and other influential policy institutions driving change in the U.S. and around the world.

With greater access and proximity to decision-makers, our new location allows our faculty to more easily share information and develop solutions, and puts our students closer to competitive experiential learning and career opportunities.

Making space for new ideas

An expanded space just steps from the Capitol allows us to fully realize our role as a convener, providing more spaces for productive dialogue and the exchange of new ideas.

And a new home downtown allows us to deepen our ties to the DC and policy communities – accelerating collaborations and spurring partnerships with local businesses, community leaders, policymakers and think tanks.

Empowering the next generation of changemakers

Service and community engagement are a way of life at Georgetown.

To do our best work in service of the common good, we must collaborate in new ways, offer more experiential learning opportunities and deepen connections within our community and beyond our walls.
