MPP/MBA
Master in Public Policy/Master of Business Administration Dual Degree
Today’s public sector needs leaders who can rethink how services are delivered to better meet the needs of citizens. The private and non-profit sectors are also expanding their roles in areas once administered by the government. The Master of Public Policy (MPP) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) dual degree program equips you with the skills and knowledge to become a leader across these sectors and beyond.
By combining the financial, marketing and organizational skills you’ll gain from a business program with the analytical tools and policy knowledge from a public policy program, you’ll develop a unique skill set that makes you highly valuable in a wide range of careers.
How to apply
To apply to the MPP/MBA dual degree program, you must apply to and be admitted to both programs separately and simultaneously. Admissions decisions from the McCourt School and the Business School are made independently, so admission to one does not guarantee admission to the other.
It may be possible for students currently in either program to apply to the other during the first year of enrollment. For questions about the MPP requirements, please contact McCourt Admissions at mccourtadmissions@georgetown.edu. For questions about the MBA requirements, please contact MBA Admissions at georgetownmba@georgetown.edu.
