Students to work in international development and on racial equity issues, thanks to McCourt School stipends
This year, 7 students received the McCourt Fund for Experiential Learning scholarship, a ,500 stipend to help support costs associated with unpaid summer internships.
Launched in 2011, the Fund for Experiential Learning (formerly Fund for Student Excellence) provides financial assistance to students who are advancing their careers with substantive and meaningful internships that are unpaid. Each recipient will receive a ,500 stipend to help defray costs associated with their unpaid summer internships. The McCourt School believes in experiential learning and supports students who wish to apply their skills and gain experience while making a difference in their field of interest.

This year’s recipients will intern both nationally and internationally with organizations including the World Bank, United Nations Habitat, Ashoka, DC Council Office of Racial Equity, the U.S. State Department, and more.
