Why did you choose McCourt? I chose the MPP curriculum at McCourt with its focus on evidence-based policy and quantitative data analysis to equip myself with the skills necessary to formulate, implement and measure the effectiveness of policy. Learning from the esteemed faculty alongside a diverse cohort of future policy makers, in Washington, DC makes it ideal for studying public policy.

What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? Prior to McCourt, I worked with the Institute for Competitiveness (IFC) and Quality Council of India (QCI), both well positioned to implement scalable solutions to policy issues in India.

What has been the best part of your experience so far? The best part of my experience so far has been interacting with students from different parts of the world and learning about their experiences and perspectives both inside and outside the classroom.

Student organization involvement while at McCourt:  I am a part of Georgetown Public Policy Review’s Data Visualisation Team (GPPR)

Undergraduate University, degree, and major: Delhi University, BA (honors) Economics & Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Liberal Arts

Hobbies/ Interests: I am particularly interested in studying international development, environment and migration policy as we approach a climate migration affecting the vulnerable populations of our society. In my free time, I like to connect with nature and people.
