Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt because of its location in Washington DC, which provides a wealth of networking and career opportunities for policy students. The school’s faculty is one of the best in the world, and McCourt’s curriculum stood out to me due to its diverse core competencies, focus on quantitative skills, and the opportunity to do a Client Capstone my second year.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? I was a legal assistant at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Orleans. I worked with attorneys in the violent crimes, voting crimes, and financial crimes divisions.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? The best part of my experience has been meeting my new classmates at McCourt who represent a diverse background of lived experiences. Learning from them both in and out of the classroom has been an integral and cherished part of my time at McCourt.
What internships have you had so far during your time at McCourt? I currently intern on Capitol Hill.

Hobbies/ Interests: My main policy interests are focused in U.S. foreign policy, especially concerning the South China Sea and the Indo-Pacific. Outside of school and work, I enjoy exploring new restaurants in DC, traveling with my family, and going to football games.
