Hometown: Germany
Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt because it is at the heart of US politics in Washington D.C. The opportunity to engage with high-level practitioners and build a reliable network is incredible and makes McCourt stand out from other policy schools.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? I interned in Brussels and Berlin before coming to McCourt, but most of my experience comes from professional and voluntary work in a German political party, where I saw politics from behind the curtain.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? The diverse and ambitious community where cooperation and helping each other is daily business.
Student organization involvement while at McCourt: I am involved in the European Policy Organization and I am currently trying to establish a new organization focused on elections in the US and around the world.
