Why did you choose McCourt? I wanted a rigorous quantitative curriculum, access to policy professionals from various backgrounds, and the ability to form a new community with many of the same interests as myself. McCourt satisfied all of those requirements for me.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? Before coming to McCourt I worked at the think tanks The Lincy Institute and Brookings Mountain West. We produced research that focused on Las Vegas, Nevada, and the mountain west region of the United States.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? Sounds cliché, but meeting new people. This program has people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. I find myself learning just as much from my peers as I do in classes.
