Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt because I wanted to learn more skills as a lobbyist and advocate. I wanted to learn more about the policy landscape around COVID-19, workers rights and working families human and civil rights.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? I have been a legislative representative at AFGE for many years. I advocate on behalf of federal and DC government workers’ pay, benefits, retirement, healthcare and access to full collective bargaining rights.
What was the best part of your experience? I love my professors and fellow students at McCourt!
What internships did you have during your time at McCourt? I have worked as a TA for Professor Milner Gillers’ Negotiations course
Student organization involvement while at McCourt: I am also on the Women in Public Policy Initiative (WiPPI) e-board
Undergraduate University, degree, and major: Macalester College, Bachelor of Arts in American Studies
Hobbies/ Interests: I like to play music, being in nature, hanging out with friends and making art.
