Why did you choose McCourt? As a GEN Omar N. Bradley Fellow, McCourt is the policy program in partnership with Department of Defense for us to complete our Masters in Policy Management curriculum.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? Before attending McCourt, I served the last eight years as a U.S. Army Logistics Officer. I’ve served in leadership positions that focused on logistics and support operations in the U.S. Europe and the Middle East. I recently commanded a Support Maintenance Company that provided maintenance support to adjacent units and Allied partners across six countries in the European continent.
What has been the best part of your experience so far?
Connecting and collaborating with talented professionals and students within McCourt. It is very rewarding to be in an academic environment with policy professionals with the desire to implement change in their respective fields of expertise.
I’ve also had the opportunity to meet policy managers and practitioners within my particular area of interest and expand my knowledge through research on topics such as food insecurity, affordable housing and community development.

Hobbies/ Interests: Hobbies include traveling, spending time with my family and coaching 4U soccer in Prince George’s County. I also enjoy volunteering with the Capital Area Food Bank. My Policy Interests include: Food Insecurity, Affordable Housing and Community Development
