Why did you choose McCourt? The sense of urgency that McCourt has on their mission to respond to complex issues of today’s world was one of my motivations. The program has the essential courses to provide me with the analytical and management skills I required to give the next step in my career but with the flexibility enough to choose electives from the policy area I am more interested.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? For five years I worked as a Member of the Mayor’s Office in a Municipality in Chile, where I oversaw and coordinate different projects from different areas such as sustainability, women, elderly, among others.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? The professors had been without a doubt an important part of the experience, not only because of what they teach you in classes but also because they are very approachable. Also, I have learned a lot from my peers and their own experience, many of them that become my friends.
Student organization involvement while at McCourt: Women in Public Policy Initiative (WiPPI)
