Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt because of the access that it provided being in the heart of the nations capital. Washington, D.C. has so many unique opportunities for those in the public policy sphere, from internships with government agencies, to high profile guest speakers on a range topics. McCourt always has its finger on the pulse of the city and enables its students to gain access to so many unique events. McCourt through these events, has allowed me to explore a wide range of policy issues that I previously had no exposure to which ultimately helped me to find the right policy niche for what I wanted to pursue.
What was the best part of your experience? The best part of my McCourt experience has been the people that I have gotten the opportunity to meet, and learn from. I have had the amazing opportunity to gain lifelong friendships with people from across the globe while at McCourt. This benefit extends into the classroom too, as the diversity of opinions allows for more enhanced discussions on the major public policy issues of today with fellow classmates sharing case studies from their own experiences.
