Why did you choose McCourt? McCourt emphasized quantitative and qualitative skill development, and at the same time, gave me the flexibility I needed to explore various policy areas and develop my own policy concentrations. McCourt’s curriculum is created in a way that supports work experience opportunities outside of the school!
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? Prior to coming to McCourt, I worked at RepresentWomen as a Research Associate focused on gender parity in politics with an emphasis on racial equity and intersectionality. During McCourt, I did internships at the AARP and SRCD, which were focused on aging policy and child development policy respectively.
What was the best part of your experience? There’s been many positives since starting at McCourt, but the biggest one for me has been finding my community, both in fellow students and in teachers.
