Alora Hasson is the Assistant Director of Academic Affairs, serving as one of the academic advisors for McCourt School students and assisting with the international programs.
Alora is originally from Glen Mills, Pennsylvania and has worked in higher education for over five years. She first came to D.C. for college, receiving a degree in International Affairs and History from the George Washington University. She became involved in higher education as a student, working as a resident advisor at GW, and took on a role in student engagement at the College of William & Mary after graduating. Alora then came to Georgetown, working in the Office of Advancement, where she executed student events and advised student organizations, before joining the McCourt School team in her current role in August 2021. She is also a Georgetown alumna, having earned her Master’s in Higher Education Administration in the School of Continuing Studies, with a capstone focused on academic integrity. Alora is here to ensure McCourt School students have a wonderful academic experience through advising services and program support.
