Sharon Mar is Chief of Operations and Administration for the McCourt School of Public Policy. Prior to joining McCourt, she served in advancing roles for more than a decade with the Office of Management and Budget, most recently serving as the Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Deputy Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. She brings deep and relevant experience in leading strategic and organizational change, cross-organizational and cross-functional collaboration, and strategic partnerships. Sharon holds a masters in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University and an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley. She recently completed her Key Executive Leadership Certificate from American University.
