Amelie is the TPP graduate assistant for the Tech and Public Policy programs. She is currently a Masters in Data Science for Public Policy at the McCourt School of Public Policy. In the past year Amelie has worked as a Technology Policy Analyst at Public Citizen and a AI Summer Analyst in Deloitte Government and Public Sector practice. Amelie also acts as the president of McCourt’s Georgetown Technology Policy Initiative, a conglomerate of students passionate about technology policy issues.
Prior to her time at McCourt, Amelie got a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Analytics and a minor in Computer Science from Santa Clara University. After her undergraduate degree she worked at Accenture in their AI sector as a Data Strategy Consultant helping private sector companies optimize their data pipeline and data strategies. In her free time Amelie loves rock climbing, watching sci-fi movies and scoping out the best farmers market in town!

Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt because of the location and amazing policy curriculum. The DSPP program was also unique to McCourt and specifically what I wanted to study.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? I worked for 3 years in private industry consulting as a Data Strategy consultant.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? The genuine relationships with peers and professionals that I have been able to foster in such a short period of time.
