Matt Gyory is a 2010 graduate of the of the McCourt Public Policy School (then Georgetown Public Policy Institute). Matt moved to the DC area in 2007 after graduating with BS in Mathematics and BA in Government from Lafayette College.
Matt works as a Specialist Leader for Deloitte’s Risk and Advisory Global Public Sector practice. Matt specializes in audit readiness and remediation activities for Defense clients. Matt is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM). Matt hopes to use his time on the alumni board to bring more alumni back into the McCourt family. His free time is spent running, cooking and running after/cooking for his small children.
What internships did you have during your time at McCourt? I was an intern for the Center for Lobbying in the Public Interest and a communications intern at the Center for Global Development while at McCourt.
Student organization involvement while at McCourt: I was a member of the Policy Review and GPPSA (Treasurer).

Fun fact: I was a pie baking champion finalist and I got married the weekend of the finals, so was not able to attend in person.
