Jolina Jimenez

Jolina Jimenez is a third-year honors student at The Ohio State University pursuing dual degrees in Public Affairs and Sociology. Much of her background is based in nonprofit organizing and participatory action research, holding several program development and administrative roles in the youth-led civic organizations YVote and the NYC Youth Agenda Coalition over the years. Jolina is an advocate for youth welfare, education equity, and criminal justice reform, pursuing these missions through a lens that centers lived experiences and community-based initiatives. Over the summer, Jolina is working and studying in D.C. as a member of Ohio State’s Washington Academic Internship Program (WAIP).
