Mark Hines
MPP '11
Mark works as a senior research associate with the Retirement Savings Project at the Pew Charitable Trusts. He also is an adjunct faculty member at the McCourt School of Public Policy, teaching courses in ethics and research methods. He previously worked as a policy analyst at the U.S. Social Security Administration.
He was motivated to join the Alumni Board by his interests in ensuring affordable educational opportunities for students at the school and increasing alumni engagement. Prior to graduate school, he worked in higher education student services and is happy to be able to continue his involvement in the life of McCourt. Mark earned his A.B. at Washington University in St. Louis, his MPP at McCourt, and his Ph.D. in Government, also at Georgetown University.
