Applications are accepted from July 1 - April 1.

Those applying with a completed application by 30 November will be considered for scholarship and they will be notified of their decision by mid-January. The Priority Deadline for scholarship consideration is 15 January.

**International applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by the Priority Deadline.**

The Final Deadline for application submission is 1 April.

Program Information

Curriculum

The MPM program strikes a balance among analytics, management, and substance within specific policy areas. The program includes four summer institutes, core courses, a capstone project and elective courses.

Course Sequence

Full-time students complete their degrees after one summer and two semesters. Part-time participants fulfill the requirements for their degrees over the course of two summers and four semesters.

    Automation, and the threat it poses to workers, has become an incredibly salient issue for policy experts in the U.S. and around the world. Among the think tanks tackling this issue is New America, whose Work, Workers and Technology Program strives to add a human context to discussions of automation. An excellent example is the recent work of Vadim Abanin, Itay Weiss, Natalia Gonzalez-Alarcon and Matt Schwartz, the four Baker Future Fellows who interned at New America last summer.
