Why did you choose McCourt? Good question. There are many considerations, but I think the most important one is that McCourt is a top policy school that provides the Data Science & Public Policy major, so to me it was an easy choice.

What has been the best part of your experience so far? Everyone here knows one another, so it is a really nice community. There are parties every week.

Student organization involvement while at McCourt: Tech & Public Policy (TPP), East Asian Policy Association (EAPA)

Undergraduate University, degree, and major: Wuhan University, Philosophy, Politics, and Economics

Hobbies/ Interests: I like all kinds of data science skills. Using them to dig into data and find new patterns is just cool to me. I’m interested in the tech side of things, and I hope to help build tools that make policy analysis easier. I’m also just a curious person—everything happening in society interests me. Outside of work, I love hiking and trying good food.

Reach out to me about: DSPP Program. Good restaurants in DC. Things that are worth paying attention to when starting a career here.
