Maria Sanchez

María Sanchez is the program manager for the Tech & Public Policy (TPP) program at Georgetown University, where she manages the design and implementation of various TPP initiatives, including the Scholars Program, Visiting Fellows Program, Grants Program, Ideathon and more. Prior to joining the McCourt School, María managed the computer science engineering (CSE) programs at Washington University in St. Louis. In that role, she oversaw mentoring programs, scholarships and events designed to support CSE students.

María holds a master of arts in political science and public affairs, with a concentration in public policy and administration, from Saint Louis University. Her research interests focus on food policy, particularly programs like SNAP, WIC and TANF. She also holds a bachelor of arts in political science and public administration from Lindenwood University.

Originally from Southern California, María enjoys spending her free time with her two dogs, Ralphie and Cookie, cooking and weightlifting!
