Kinda Ahmed

Kinda Ahmed is the senior associate for web and digital Communications at the McCourt School of Public Policy’s Tech & Public Policy (TPP) program. She leads TPP’s storytelling and digital communications strategy, shaping the program’s online presence and outreach to the Georgetown University community and external partners.

Prior to joining the McCourt School, Kinda led content creation for leading communications and policymaker research firm, Penta. There, she translated complex qualitative and quantitative research into compelling insights for senior policymakers on the federal, state and international level – focusing on pressing tech policy areas including fintech and AI. In addition to this, Kinda also worked at a mission-driven communications firm, helping nonprofits and major foundations enhance their thought leadership through strategic messaging, media engagement and visibility campaigns.

Kinda holds a bachelor of science in public administration from George Mason University. She grew up in Northern Virginia and also lived in Japan and India. In her free time, she likes to bake, explore new restaurants and stay active.
