Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt because of the wide-range of internship opportunities in the D.C. area, as well as its proximity to important government institutions. Additionally, I was interested in the Institute of Politics and Public Service (GU Politics) and its role in bringing in leaders across multiple sectors of the political community. I was also drawn to the Quant sequence, and how McCourt stood out as requiring three semesters of quantitative methods, as opposed to many schools only requiring two.

What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? I came to McCourt right after I graduated from my undergraduate school, the University of Rhode Island.

What has been the best part of your experience so far? The best part of my experience at McCourt was being a participant and winner in the 2025 Georgetown Public Policy Challenge. It was very fulfilling for me to be a part of a team and develop a complex policy proposal that would impact many people in the D.C. community.

Student organization involvement while at McCourt: Disability Policy Initiative (DPI)

Undergraduate University, degree, and major: The University of Rhode Island, BS in Applied Economics, BA in Political Science

Hobbies/ Interests: My hobbies outside of school include golfing during the summer, watching football, and hanging out with my friends and family.
My policy areas of interest include health policy, macroeconomic policy, microeconomics, quantitative methods, and federal politics.
