Eric Gardner is the Manager of Data Analysis & Student Hiring.
Eric began work at the McCourt School, then known as the Georgetown Public Policy Institute (GPPI) in the Fall of 1999 as an alum teaching assistant (TA) for a Quantitative Methods course. In Spring 2000, he began working with students on the Thesis, and moved to full-time status at GPPI during the Fall of 2003. Currently, Eric spends most of his time advising students on data analysis for their Thesis and Client-based capstone projects. Uniquely poised as a subject matter expert and as a staff academic professional, he also manages the GA and RA allocation process. He has provided data analysis advising for students and in support of faculty committees as well as to the McCourt School senior administration over the past almost two decades. He is masterfully proficient in the use of statistical software such as Stata. He was awarded the Vicennial Medal for service to Georgetown University in 2020. Eric holds a BA in History from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from GPPI (now the McCourt School). He is originally from Livingston NJ.
