Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt both for the program’s emphasis on quantitative studies and its location in DC The opportunities for internships and network building in the field of public policy are limitless in DC, and I am so happy with my decision to study here.

What was the best part of your experience? The best part of the experience was meeting a variety of people from all over the world and hearing about the experiences that led them to McCourt. The network here is truly incredible, and it has been great to have such a diverse group to learn from.

Student organization involvement while at McCourt: At McCourt, I was on the Executive Board for the Women in Public Policy Initiative (WPPI) for two years and did the exchange program at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany. I also volunteered with Georgetown’s Honor Council as a Graduate Student Co-Chair.

Undergraduate Degree and University: Bachelor in Art from Northwestern University. I double majored in History and Political Science and minored in Theatre.

Hobbies/ Interests: I enjoy visiting all of DC’s museums, reading, watching sports (gymnastics and football), and taking my dog on long walks around the National Mall.
