Dr. Schone serves as the Academic Director of MPP programs at the McCourt School. In addition, she teaches courses in the core curriculum and in health policy. Her research focuses primarily on the economics of the family, the employment-related health insurance market and the economics of obesity. Dr. Schone has been affiliated with Georgetown since 1998 and has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
