November 17, 2014: The McCourt School celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Master of Policy Management (MPM) program on Monday, November 17th. The event was held in Georgetown’s Riggs Library. McCourt students, faculty and MPM alumni were joined by U.S. Army Chief of Staff General Raymond Odierno.
In a moderated question and answer session with McCourt School Dean Edward Montgomery, General Odierno discussed the importance of leadership, inspiring others and vision.
An MPM degree is designed for elite students with experience in the policy world who wish to advance into management or hone their management skills. Unlike other degrees, students who enter the MPM program must have at least five-years of work experience before beginning their degrees.
The event kicked off with remarks by Lynn Ross, Faculty Director of the MPM program. Nearly one hundred guests including MPM faculty, students and alumni gathered to celebrate the program and catch up with old friends and colleagues.
