McCourt alumna named president & CEO of Easterseals

Kendra Davenport (EMPL‘20) brings more than 30 years of experience working exclusively in the nonprofit sector.

Kendra Davenport, alumna of the McCourt School’s Executive Master in Policy Leadership program , has been selected as president and CEO of Easterseals, one of the nation’s leading nonprofit providers of services and advocacy for people with disabilities and their families.

“I am thrilled to be starting a new professional chapter as president and CEO of Easterseals,” said Davenport. “I look forward to applying my nonprofit experience in this new capacity and advocating to positively influence public health policy impacting people living with disabilities.”

“My interest in policy leadership was strengthened and refined at McCourt,” she said. “I know I will draw upon the education I received there.”

Davenport, who will assume her new role on April 14, brings more than three decades of experience working exclusively in the nonprofit sector. Most recently, she managed multichannel global philanthropy efforts as chief development officer of Operation Smile, an international nonprofit medical organization that provides free cleft lip and cleft palate surgery.
