“We’re proud that Georgetown continues to be regarded as one of the nation’s premier institutions of public administration and policy, especially in our core area of public policy” said GPPI Dean Ed Montgomery. “We will continue to aggressively pursue our strategic plan focused on enhancing our faculty, attracting the best students, and deepening our engagement with policy makers.”

The specialty rankings are based on ratings by educators at GPPI’s peer schools. Public affairs school deans and other academics were asked to nominate up to 10 programs for excellence in each specialty. The broad “Public Affairs” rankings are based solely on the results of a peer assessment survey. Visit the U.S. News website to learn more about theirmethodology.
