Georgetown to Host BREAD Conference

The McCourt School of Public Policy, the Department of Economics, and the Georgetown University Initiative on Innovation, Development and Evaluation (gui2de) hosted the 2016 Spring meeting of the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD) on Friday and Saturday, April 29-30 2016.

The McCourt School of Public Policy, the Department of Economics, and the Georgetown University Initiative on Innovation, Development and Evaluation (gui2de) will host the 2016 Spring meeting of the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD) on Friday and Saturday, April 29-30 2016.

This event is open to all Georgetown faculty and graduate students.

BREAD, founded in 2002, is a non-profit organization dedicated to research and scholarship in development economics. BREAD conferences provide a forum for all BREAD members to learn about the best research on-going in the field.

The scientific committee for this conference is Garance Genicot (Georgetown University, Department of Economics), Xavier Gine (DECRG, World Bank), James Habyarimana (Georgetown University, McCourt School) and Martin Ravallion (Georgetown University, Department of Economics).

BREAD members are invited to submit a paper for the conference. The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 29, 2016.
