CPNL, Crimsonbridge Launch New Scholarships

The Crimsonbridge Leadership Fund will provide scholarships to CPNL’s Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate Program for leaders at locally-based and locally-serving organizations.

The Center for Public & Nonprofit Leadership at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy and the Crimsonbridge Foundation are launching a new scholarship fund aimed at developing the leadership of Greater Washington Region nonprofits.

“At a time when the nonprofit sector, particularly in the Washington D.C. region, is facing significant challenges and opportunities, the leadership of the sector needs to be strengthened now, more than ever,” CPNL Assistant Director, Luisa Boyarski, said. “With the support of the Crimsonbridge Foundation, we can strategically invest in developing existing and emerging leaders with the greatest potential.”

Scholarships through The Crimsonbridge Leadership Fund will be available starting with the Summer Certificate Program, which will be held June 11-18, 2016. “Investing in leadership is essential to sustaining a strong nonprofit sector in our region,” said Danielle M. Reyes, Executive Director of the Crimsonbridge Foundation. The Foundation also believes in the importance and value of diversity in leadership and encourages applicants of diverse backgrounds to apply to The Crimsonbridge Leadership Fund.
