Consequential Elections: A Conversation with Ken Burns

On November 19th, 2020, Georgetown University hosted an event with award-winning American filmmaker Ken Burns to discuss consequential presidential elections.

The conversation explored historical U.S. elections during times of war, economic depression, and global conflict and how our elections reflect the spirit and concerns of the American people. The discussion also featured insight from Lynn C. Ross, Teaching Professor, McCourt School of Public Policy and Faculty Director, Master of Policy Management Program and Rosa Brooks, The Scott K. Ginsburg Professor of Law and Policy, Georgetown University Law Center Associate Dean for Centers and Institutes Co-Director of Georgetown’s Innovative Policing Program.
