March 10 Update
Dear McCourt Community:
This email contains new and important information about the McCourt School’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Please read it carefully.
Updates:
- As of today, McCourt School offices are open, and on-campus classes and events will proceed as scheduled, unless otherwise noted.
- The McCourt School has set up an Emergency Readiness page on our website with information on tools and trainings for instructional and operational continuity, and a form to request tech support.
Reminders:
- The McCourt School will communicate with you on this topic through your Georgetown email. We encourage you to check your email frequently and read these emails carefully.
- We recommend taking home your laptops and power cords, textbooks, and/or other course materials that you may keep in your campus office or locker.
Resources:
- Visit Georgetown’s Coronavirus Resource Center for information on the coronavirus case being treated at MedStar Georgetown Hospital, answers to frequently asked questions, how to stay healthy on spring break, and links to University resources. For your convenience, the McCourt School has added a link to these resources from the homepage of our website.
- Visit the CDC’s COVID-19 website for important information on how the situation is evolving in the U.S., updated travel guidance, and how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.

The health and safety of the McCourt School community is my top priority. We recognize this represents a significant disruption to your McCourt experience. Our team is deeply engaged, and working on plans to move, or recreate, as many of our student services and co-curricular experiences– like career and events programming– online as possible.
