Hometown: Stamford, CT
Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt for several reasons, and have found more since coming here. My original reasons were for the location and related opportunities; the networking opportunities with alumni, faculty, and community professionals; the caliber of the faculty; and the variety of electives McCourt offers. Since coming here, all these have proven to be true. I have also become immensely grateful for the incredible community of fellow students, and the work McCourt has put in to helping students build that community both through student organizations and school-wide events.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? I worked in foodservice/hospitality after high-school for several years, and spent 10 years as a circus performer. I attended undergrad from ages 23-27, and worked in healthcare during that time. After undergrad, I worked in corporate finance for 4 years before coming to Georgetown.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? The community I have built at McCourt is invaluable, both as personal friendships and professional connections. I have also loved all of my courses, even with how tough some of the content can be.
