Why did you choose McCourt? I choose McCourt for the following reasons: first, the ability to finish both the JD and MPP in four years; second, the wide range of courses available including the quantitative classes; and third, the rigor and reputation of the program.

What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? After graduating from Emory, I worked as a Summer Intern for the House Judiciary Committee. Returning to Georgia at the end of the internship, I began working as the Legislative Assistant for the State Senate Majority Leader until I began my dual degree in the Fall of 2020.

What has been the best part of your experience so far?  The best part of my experience at Georgetown has been the professors. Having the opportunity to learn from individuals who are at the top of their respective fields is invaluable. The wide range of experiences that the professors at McCourt offer is remarkable.
