Study Across Two Campuses
Students in the McCourt School’s Joint Program in Public Policy have the unique opportunity to live and study on two campuses, spending their first two years immersed on Georgetown’s Hilltop Campus before completing the program on the Capitol Campus, just steps away from the U.S. Capitol.
Immerse yourself in the history and heritage of the country’s oldest Catholic and Jesuit institution of higher learning then apply that experience to shape the policy world.

The Hilltop Campus
Begin your education by immersing yourself in the history and heritage of the country’s oldest Catholic and Jesuit institution of higher learning.
Since 1789, when founder of Georgetown University, John Carroll, purchased the first acre of land that would become Georgetown’s campus, generations of Hoyas have called the Hilltop home. McCourt’s undergraduate students will begin their program in this same lineage, studying at 37th and O St.
Steps away from the iconic M Street shopping corridor, Georgetown’s main campus offers a secluded, enriching environment with the excitement of a city just blocks away. Like those before you, McCourt’s JPPP students will fall in love with the historic Georgetown neighborhood and campus.
The Capitol Campus
Complete your journey by living, learning and working just steps from where policy happens.
Georgetown University’s Capitol Campus, nestled where Georgetown Law has stood since its founding, will be a home for undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff and community members, welcoming a rotating series of guest speakers, community events, student group activities, research seminars and conferences. The McCourt School of Public Policy, with its new home on 125 E St., will be the dynamic hub for it all.
In addition to the unique opportunities afforded by being a student at the McCourt School of Public Policy, JPPP students will have the chance to take courses across programs on Capitol Campus whether at the newly launched Earth Commons Institute, through the Capitol Applied Learning Lab, School of Continuing Studies, or programs affiliated with the new School of Health and School of Nursing in the coming years.
