McCourt has partnered with five Georgetown graduate schools to create dual degree programs for students who want to lead across disciplines — and at the highest levels of public, private and nonprofit life.
MPP/MBA
Professionals who can bridge business and policy are among the most sought-after in today’s market. This dual degree pairs the finance, marketing, and organizational skills of an MBA with the analytical tools and political acumen of a public policy program.
MPP/PhD in Government
This degree is built for students with a serious interest in both politics and policy, preparing them for careers in applied research, teaching, and evaluation across universities, nonprofits, businesses and government.
MPP/JD
The most effective policy lawyers understand not just the legal landscape but the policy environment they’re working in. The MPP/JD builds that dual fluency, pairing a rigorous legal education with training in policy design, research methodology, statistics and economics.
MPP/PhD in Psychology
The MPP/PhD in Psychology prepares graduates to bring behavioral science to bear on public policy, opening careers across universities, research institutes, government agencies, medical institutions and nonprofits.
MPP/MSFS
Designed for students who want to work at the intersection of policy and international affairs, this program develops robust analytical skills alongside substantive training in global issues, opening careers across the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
MPP/MAGES
This unique program, hosted by Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service’s BMW Center for German and Europe an Studies (CGES) allows students to pursue a degree in public policy with a regional specialization in Europe and opportunity to study at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.

The MPP/MiM dual degree will provide an inter-disciplinary skill set, international educational experience, and an integrated work experience in both Europe and North America for professionals in the early stages of their careers.
The MPM/MPGPP dual degree is specifically designed for Brazilian public administration and policy professionals in the early-to-middle stages of their careers who seek to expand their expertise through international study.
The MPM-GMP is targeted towards Korean public administration and public policy professionals in the early-to-middle stages of their careers, usually with between five and ten years of work experience.
Students in this dual degree program earn both Georgetown’s Masters in Policy Management (MPM) and the Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Administration’s Global Master of Public Administration (GMPA). The MPM-GMPA is targeted towards Korean public officials, selected by the Ministry of Security and Public Administration, Republic of Korea and professionals in the public sector such as public news media.
Open only to current students enrolled in KDI’s Global Masters Program, students can earn this dual-degree by completing the first full year GMPA curriculum requirements at SNU GSPA, and 27 credits at the McCourt School over the course of an intense 24 months. All of the teaching for the dual degree program is in English.
