Why did you choose McCourt? In my head, I committed to Georgetown the minute I got in and turned down admission offers and fellowships to a number of other great schools. McCourt is in the middle of D.C., the beating heart of public policy making. Students can seek out and take advantage of a wide range of opportunities—for instance, I had two government internships; participated in our student service organization, including a 10-day service trip to Honduras; was an RA and TA; researched at a think tank; and landed a fulfilling 6-year career at the U.S. Labor Department writing and implementing policy for low-wage workers.
What was the best part of your experience? The opportunities for outside experiences.
