Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt because of the great location, quant focus, and reputation for producing successful graduates.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? Before coming to grad school, I worked primarily on campaigns in North Idaho near where I went to undergrad. I also did some work at a non-profit focused on tax policy reform, and worked in the Idaho Legislature.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? Meeting the amazing professors and exploring DC!
Student organization involvement while at McCourt: Women in Public Policy Initiative (WiPPI)
Undergraduate University, degree, and major: University of Idaho, BS in Political Science
Hobbies/ Interests: My main policy area of interest is actually transportation policy, specifically urban mass transit and passenger rail. When I'm not studying I enjoy fly fishing, hiking, competing in trivia events, and exploring DC with my friends!
