Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt for the rigorous quantitative curriculum. I wanted a program that would challenge me and where I could develop analytic skills to help improve the lives of the most vulnerable.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? The best part has been the supportive community that shares a common passion for public policy. The network of faculty, staff, and teaching assistants have been instrumental to support my learning. The other students in my cohort have been a great system to rely on for support--we all want everyone to succeed!
Undergraduate University, degree, and major: The College of Wooster (Ohio), BA in Political Science
Hobbies / Interests: I am interested in policies that help recruit and retain an effective and diverse educator workforce. When I'm not learning about education and labor policy, I enjoy stand up comedy, visiting DC public libraries, and listening to podcasts.
