Why have you chosen McCourt? I wanted to go to a school that would challenge me. After visiting McCourt and learning about the rigorous quantitive and policy curriculum, I knew that this was the place where I would learn the most. I also grew up and lived in Boston my whole life, so I wanted to move somewhere new and Washington D.C. was the perfect place.
What's the best part of your experience so far? I am continually impressed by all of my fellow students. Everyone has such diverse and interesting background and skills so you not only learn from your professors but from everyone around you. I am also interning at the Center for Children and Families at Georgetown, and it has been an amazing opportunity to learn about policies that affect children and about data analysis.
Undergraduate Degree and University: B.A. in Psychology from Tufts University
Hobbies / Interests: When it isn't super humid and hot, I like running. It's a great way to see the city. I also like watching really bad reality TV (not even a guilty pleasure. Just a pleasure).
