Why did you choose McCourt? I want to focus my career on international human rights, and felt that being in DC would provide opportunities to become involved/connected with international organizations.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? After graduating undergrad in 2018 I moved to Chicago and spent 4 years working as a project coordinator and project manager for a medical advocacy agency, where we worked with the unbranded advocacy branches of pharmaceutical companies and disease-specific patient advocacy groups/non-profits to promote better access to care for patients with a wide range of diseases. In the role I led project management for clients focused on rheumatoid arthritis, rare diseases, lung cancer, Alzheimer's, gastroenterological diseases, and many others.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? Having the opportunity to meet and engage with so many people from differing backgrounds and with different perspectives. I feel like I'm learning something new every single day and not just from the professors!
