Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt because I wanted to learn more skills as a lobbyist and advocate. I wanted to learn more about the policy landscape around COVID-19, workers rights and working families human and civil rights.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? I have been a legislative representative at AFGE for many years. I advocate on behalf of federal and DC government workers' pay, benefits, retirement, healthcare and access to full collective bargaining rights.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? I love my professors and fellow students at McCourt!
What internships have you had so far during your time at McCourt? I have worked as a TA for Professor Milner Gillers' Negotiations course
Student organization involvement while at McCourt: I am also on the Women in Public Policy Initiative (WiPPI) e-board
Undergraduate University, degree, and major: Macalester College, Bachelor of Arts in American Studies
Hobbies/ Interests: I like to play music, being in nature, hanging out with friends and making art.
