Why have you chosen McCourt? I came to McCourt (and Washington, D.C.) with the hope of exploring my public policy interests both in the classroom and off-campus.
What's the best part of your experience so far? The best part of my experience is probably the McCourt community - students, professors, and especially our staff members! I started as a full-time MPP student, and the administration was incredibly helpful when I decided to transition to the MPP-EP program. Because of this, I am able to work full-time at the Brookings Institution while completing graduate school part-time. Plus, McCourt students have the opportunity to take some really interesting classes (both during the day and in the evening). Currently, I am cross-registered in an Administrative Law class at Georgetown Law!
Undergraduate Degree and University: I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2017 where I studied Political Science and Spanish.
Hobbies / Interests: When I'm not attending class or working, I enjoy reading (mostly about privacy policies and/or artificial intelligence).
