Why did you choose McCourt? Foremost, strong sense of community and plenty of resources supporting my academic life and career endeavors, both at McCourt and at GU. I also love the rigorous, in-depth, and diverse academic training here, which contributes to the outstanding reputation of McCourt in public affairs. Its location in DC provides direct access to numerous practitioners, organizations, and events on public and international affairs.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? I was an intern journalist at my hometown's Radio & TV Station. Before that I worked as program assistant for the foreign affairs office of the city government and the Partnership Action for Green Economy led by United Nations Environmental Program. I also had an marketing internship at China Mobile.
What has been the best part of your experience so far? Enjoying various resources and opportunities that help develop myself comprehensively.
Student organization involvement while at McCourt: I'm member of the New Student Committee of the McCourt Student Association (MSA) and co-director of department of Event Planning of East Asian Policy Association (EAPA). I'm also in the Georgetown Investment Fund and Foreign Affairs & Science and Technology (FAST).
