Why did you choose McCourt? I chose McCourt because of the new partnership with National Urban Fellows. McCourt was my first choice for graduate school but given the price tag it didn't seem realistic for me until this partnership began.
What professional/ work experience did you have prior to coming to McCourt? Prior to becoming a graduate student at McCourt I worked for 4.5 years on Capitol Hill where I worked on issues related to education, children and families, transportation, infrastructure, civil rights and social policy.
What was the best part of your experience? The people I met and and opportunities to hear from other professional in different fields.
What internships did you have during your time at McCourt? My Fellowship placement was with Cleveland Water Department.

Hobbies/ Interests: Hobbies: attending children and family events in DC, spoken word events, community coalition building, shopping, organizing.
