Edward Montgomery, Dean of the McCourt School of Public Policy, introduced General Perkins to a full audience on Friday, February 10, 2017 in Riggs Library.
General Perkins focused his talk on the two major topics of leadership and the future. He discussed his time leading the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command and his experience getting promotions within the Army to land where he is today.
The McCourt School welcomes about 20 Fellows from the Joint Chiefs of Staff office to its master of policy management program each year. Upon earning their degrees, interns are integrated into the policy and operational activities of the nation’s senior military staffs.
